FELICITY COLANGELO, LCSW, PMH-C

Hi, I’m Felicity Colangelo (she/her), a licensed clinical social worker, lifelong student of the human experience, lover of the outdoors, foodie and mom of two intense little people. My goal as a clinician is to empower folks toward more hope and joy as they plan for and navigate through prenatal and early parenting struggles. My practice is driven by the knowledge that people are silently struggling with a wide range of challenges related to family planning, pregnancy and parenting and that, with the right support, their suffering can be greatly relieved. I am LGBTQ and all gender identity affirming.

Whether in the early stages of family planning, already embarking on the journey, or feeling upset about prior experience/s, I’m honored to help untangle the chaos and support folks exactly where they’re at in each moment. Some common topics include:

*Prenatal/Postpartum Adjustment
*Attachment/Bonding
*Anxiety
*Depression
*Coping Skills
*Grief/Loss/Trauma (including childhood/past trauma)
*Stress
*Self Esteem
*Sleep Issues
*Fear/worry
*Preparing for baby
*Unmet expectations/Disappointment/Regret
*Adoption
*Sex/Sexuality
*Relationship Challenges
*Fertility challenges
*OCD
*Parenting

MARIA RADER, LCSW, PMH-C

(she/her)

It is a pleasure to join the Maine Mother + Co community as a licensed clinical social worker and a certified perinatal mental health clinician. I’m deeply honored to accompany individuals on their journey through pregnancy and postpartum, pregnancy loss, fertility stresses; all major life experiences that often present a myriad of challenges. Accessing mental health support during this time is a sign of strength and hope, and can be critical for restoring a sense of well-being, often with a secondary outcome of improved family relationships.

In a trauma-informed practice, I hold a safe space for clients to process emotions, feel validated, locate inner/outer resources, and learn coping skills. Please contact me to arrange an initial 15-minute consult at no charge to determine if we are a good fit for therapeutic work together.

I am accepting new clients for in-person sessions on Tuesdays at Maine Mother + Co, and remotely Wednesdays and Thursdays. I currently accept Optum Insurance coverage, which includes UnitedHealthcare and UMR or out-of-pocket private pay at $110 per session. Other insurances will be accepted in the coming months.

My biggest teachers are my young adult son and daughter, and my husband, who all enjoy discussing philosophical perspectives over coffee or during long walks in nature.
